Privacy Policy
Effective 4 Oct 2026
The short version
TradeOn has no account and no sign-in. We do not know who you are. Your rules, journal, settings and history are stored on this phone and are not uploaded anywhere.
What stays on your phone
Your rules and their results. Your journal — trades, prices and notes; TradeOn stores no screenshots, because reviewing a trade redraws the chart from real candles instead. Your account balance and risk percentage. Your watched pairs, timezone, language and notification settings.
None of it leaves the device unless you explicitly export it. Uninstalling the app removes all of it, and we have no copy.
What leaves your phone, and why
- Economic calendar: the app asks our server for this week's releases. The request carries no identifier and nothing about you or your trades.
- Feedback you send: only what you write, plus the app version and a random id. The id is generated by the app purely to rate-limit the form — it is not an advertising id, not your Android id, and it follows you nowhere else.
- Ads: when an ad is shown, the ad network receives what it needs to serve it, under its own policy.
- Crash reports, if you leave them enabled: a stack trace and device model, no journal content.
Notifications are alarms on this phone
Reminders before a news release, and the pre-session brief, are scheduled by Android on this device because the times are known in advance. There is no push token and no server sending you anything.
What the app never asks for
Location. Contacts. Photos. Your broker login, account number or balance at the broker — TradeOn has no connection to any broker and cannot place a trade.
The microphone is used only while you are dictating, and the recording is discarded the moment it becomes text.
Your data is in your hands
Because nothing is stored on a server, there is no account to delete and no request to send us. Settings → Export your data writes your journal to a CSV file you keep. Uninstalling removes everything else.
Children
TradeOn is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect anything from children.
Changes, and how to reach us
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app says so before the change takes effect. Questions go through Settings → Send feedback.
